Best friends since grade school, Josh & Xander grew up blocks apart in NYC. Through a shared love of visual storytelling and an arguably naïve belief that music videos could change the world, an enduring partnership was born.
Their work balances a distinct emotional authenticity with rich, dynamic visuals. J/X have stacked multiple awards and industry-wide recognition over a long career working with some of the world’s biggest global brands including Adidas, American Express, Apple, Budweiser, Gatorade, Ford, Jeep, Chevrolet, Samsung, Lexus, and Toyota, to name a few.
J/X have shot all over the world and have collaborated with A-list talent from Lebron James and Peyton Manning to HER, The Strokes, and Quincy Jones. In addition to spots and music videos, they make documentaries, short films, art installations, and have published a book. The duo’s collaboration is defined by a working culture of ego-free problem solving throughout the creative process.
